The Jamia had the honour of hosting an inter-madaris Qirat and Naat competition, welcoming students and teachers from several institutions in the area.

Participants competed in Qirat and Naat categories, judged by experienced qaris and scholars on tajweed, voice, fluency and presentation. The atmosphere throughout the day was one of respect, encouragement and brotherhood.

Highlights of the day

• Beautiful recitations from talented young qaris
• Heart-touching naats in praise of the Prophet ﷺ
• Prizes and certificates for winners and participants

We thank all visiting institutions, judges and volunteers for making the event such a success.
